Use a product called Spray & Forget. Read and follow all the instructions, SPRAY - FORGET that simple. Waiting is the hard part. The product does all the work. For immediate results try a product called 30 Seconds . Works like bleach but faster. Again, read and follow all instructions. Spray product onto surface, rinse, repeat if needed. I've used both products. You can do this.

Vinegar, as it kills mold spores, wherein bleach does not. They have wet and forget products on the market that people swear by. Whatever you decide, make sure it is not harmful to your roof.
