Would these color clash?

My living room is painted a very light blue. I have fallen in love with a canvas abstract art print where the dominant color in the middle is turquoise surrounded by gray, black and white. Do you think the turquoise would clash too much with the light blue wall? Thanks.

  • No, not at all. I would hang it up and live with it for awhile. Worst case scenario, you can repaint that one wall as an accent wall to bring out the colors in the print.

The light blue would be a nice backdrop for the image you are creating. It would add drama and interest into your living room. The best thing about abstract is how you can move the colors around. Adding some pillows or pictures with the same colors would bring the colors together.

Actually, I studied the canvas again and amid the turquoise, right in the middle, there are some shades of light blue, almost matching my paint. Thanks.

I think it will look lovely. Turquoise and pale blue work really well together

Yes, they seem to. And I have my eye on an area rug also that has the same turquoise, gray, white and blue in it. Seems as though all would be brought together. Thanks.

I think it would be nice together too.

I am thinking so also. Thanks to all for your help.
