We marked off area, installed concrete. In the concrete we installed rebar 3 ft down and 3 ft sticking up. Hubby then secured the rebar to the miniature barn. We have the barn up off the concrete resting on concrete bricks so there is a crawlspace. He filled in the crawlspace with gravel.
He has an inclined ramp to access. Stores lawnmowers, etc in it. Protects from hurricanes, moisture, etc.
Do you mean a shed-like structure? If you are building something from a kit, there should be instructions provided as to the best method to anchor the structure and possibly an anchoring kit included. If you are building your own from scratch, build around posts anchored in concrete that is poured below your frost line (if you have winter freezes where you live) or live in an unstable area or anchor with appropriate fastenings to a concrete slab. http://theartofhomerenovations.com/how-to-anchor-a-shed/
