My cats go in our abandoned chicken coop. We have a coral attached to the small chicken door , with ramp. The coral has sunscreen shade hanging on two sides and a hard she'll roof . Coral and roof from Tractor Supply Co. Chicken coop from local dealer. It has screen and windows. I insulated it when we got it and used vinyl flooring on walls and flooring. I placed plywood over perches and screwed in place. Floor is vinyl but I have carpet squares in nesting boxes. I can access the coop, it has a locking human size door and I can access the coral. (Also has a lock)
* I had to install screen between coral and roof because cats could climb out at peak. Took about and hour to run along the four sides.
