Kitchen Cabinet Makeover - With Chalk Paint®by Annie Sloan

Amazing transformation if I say so myself on Friday at my Kitchen Makeover Cabinet Workshop. The original door had been painted in white latex some time ago and needed up dating. The look was classy country, but to mimic a faux glaze antique look. As you know with Chalk Paint®by our lovely Annie Sloan you can create anything, and we did. My fab customer was over the moon with the results and so was I. We used Old White, then crackled with the paint only in certain areas. Then new waxing technique with soft clear wax, dark wax, clear wax, paint brush..LOL! Learnt this waxing technique only a few weeks ago with Annie Sloan herself showing us. I am even tempted to re-do my own kitchen cupboards this way now, as I can think of a number of styles this would look wow in!
White Latex needing updating on old kitchen cabinets
After we did Old White Chalk Paint®by Annie Sloan- No priming or sanding. Crackled in part with paint only. Use Clear wax, then dark wax, then clear wax again using a new waxing technique.
Looks amazing.
