How can I protect this chair?

I bought this chair a few days ago and I want to be able to leave it outdoors in a wooded area. What can I do to protect the wood? I'm trying to include a picture, but don't know how.
Check with a reputable p as jnt store such as Benjamin Moore. They should have a polyurethane sealer for outdoors. Great chair. Good luck.

A marine grade varnish would probably be your best option.
Make sure you seal the ends touching ground or floor
I have had one just like it for at least 20 years and have never put anything on it. It still looks fine.
I would spray, exterior Matt finish polyurethane on it and make sure the bottom of the legs are either capped or get plenty of coatings

I like the Minwax Polycrylic, its water based, spray or brush on matte, satin or gloss, usually best price at Walmart. Nice chair!
BEAUTIFUL chair :)
Mix of 1/2 linseed oil & 1/2 tung oil. Will soak in rather than coat it with eventual breakdown & peeling of varnish products. I have made a loveseat similar to this & the directions called for these products.
