Hello Vaa! I think you may be talking about a product called Unicorn Spit. It's a wood stain that comes in more colors than just wood colors. I'm not sure I have seen the project you are referring to, but you can google "Unicorn Spit on decks" and click on "images" and you might see what you are looking for. Or better yet, go to the top of this page and look under "explore" and "paint" You might find the article. Good luck!
