Maximize my storage space?

get a bed with drawers under it and you won't need to vacuum under it, kill two birds with one stone.

Add freestanding "closets" to each room or build them in to the space if allowed. Floor to ceiling shelving that is both decorative and functional is also a big help.

Look around Ikea they have tons of space saving ideas. I have recently downsized and got rid of at least half of our stuff was a space saver. Good luck.

I got Space Bags for our tiny house. Put out of season clothes into them and store on a top shelf to keep out of the way. Also use them for spare blankets, sheet sets, towels to minimize shelf space needed in linen closet. Buy furniture that does double duty - coffee table and/or ottoman with storage to hold out of season decor.

You could use baskets in varying sizes and shapes to store some things. Also finding furniture with built in storage would be great too!

You can buy over-the-door organizers/storage for everything from shoes to canned goods to bathroom supplies. The vacuum bags for extra linens, comforters, etc. are wonderful and can go under your bed.
