I’ve planted 2 fountain grass and they are beautiful, however one plant has gotten so large that some branches are falling over. Do I need to take it up and plant it deeper? TY

plant according to this image is perfect...fountain grass, for that matter all grasses like this have that appearance....if you ever look at how fountains spray out it is not a perfect straight up and down but arcing out and over

  • Try sticking a tomato plant support in there, see if that works

You’re photo and explanation is the perfect example for me. Most that I’ve seen must have been young and in the beginning stages as they did stand straight up. I’ve had this one about four months and it is raining over in the same manner as your shared photo. Guess I’m having “beginners pains”. Thank you again.

As it begins to grow, put a peony ring in for it to grow through with support.

Build up the dirt base so it's higher and offers stability for the plant base.

That's how the plant is supposed to grow. It grows tall and wide. Looks like you've planted it in the wrong space and not giving it enough room to spread. Need to read the tags that come with the plants to see where it should be planted, how tall it grows, if needs sun or shade etc. That doesn't appear to be enough space for that to grow/spread in.

That's actually what fountain grass does - the leaves make a sort of fountain and drape over like a weeping willow.

Hello, looks just like it's supposed to! Maybe just give it more room to spread
