How do you seal a table made of pallets boards?

How do you seal a table made of pallets boards? I made a shelf/table for the bathroom out of pallet boards and don’t know what to use to seal it to keep the moisture out.

Hi Sandy, nice table would like instructions to make one. Sorry got off track. You could use clear paint sealer .

I am sorry I have no instructions on how I made the table. I just started making the legs from whatever wood I could find, added a top frame, took some pallets apart (what a chore that was), cut to the size I needed, glued and screwed the boards to the frame and sanded it, added a shelf made from pallets, and this is what I came up with. I am sorry I don’t have measurements.

Min Wax Polyurethane. Gives you color if you want it and protection at the same time.

    Hi there.

It is recommended sealing reclaimed wood that will be used in a bathroom with an oil-based polyurethane.

    Hope this helps

      Oil based smells so bad.

Yes Polyurethane is what you want to use. I wouldn't use the stain with it added in. For a bathroom I don't think this will give you enough protection. Buy the stain and poly separate. Also make sure to apply at least 2 coats. After the first coat is dry you'll want to lightly sand and then do your second coat. Good Luck!

You can use a couple of coats of Poly Vinyl, marine varnish, or shellac.

Awesome piece. Nice job. I'd thoroughly sand the entire piece with 220 grit sandpaper, wipe clean with tack cloth, and then either apply several coats of marine varnish following manufacturer instructions or apply several coats of polyurethane in the finish of your choice. Great piece. Thanks for sharing.

A simple deck water seal would work well.

I love this! I would seal it with Polycrylic available in the hardware store
