You might consider changing out your light fixtures. Maybe using some old fixtures you can find in *antique* and *junk* stores. What I did was use an old egg basket given to me by a friend. Sprayed it with flat black paint, put in a 6 or 7 inch globe, added 4 crystals and then attached old silverware around the edges. When I moved, I took it with me! Now it is swagged over my breakfast bar for lighting!

Sarah thank you for sharing your home. I love it!
One thing we just did was add mounding to make the tops of the cabinets go to the ceiling and even them out.
But then you loose your space uptop if you decorate there. If not, go for it!
Yoir cabinets look great. You could redo them but they look fine to me unless you want a color change.
The easiest thing to change is wall
color.
You like color so your home is warm and fun.
What is your vision? Theme?
This is the best one I have now. But younger the idea. Ours were level so a bit different than yours
