Bonnie, you have not said what your budget is, or what you really can change. Looking at this - I think the fastest least expensive change would be to do the ceiling white and the walls a chocolate color. Then wood accents. A fluffy brown bath rug. If you have a bigger budget - pick your colors and redo the floor, and remove the wall tile. Then your choice of colors is an option.

Hi Bonnie. I would start by painting the part of the walls that aren't tiled. I would stick with a lighter neutral color. This keeps the room feeling bigger. I can't really see the tile. Maybe it will still work with new paint. Can you send a photo with the tile?

You c an put an affordable peel and stick vinyl over you existing flooring as long as it’s level!

You might be able to use peel and stick wall tile. Find one you like that goes with the floor. Another idea is see if you can paint on tile and make the floor tile more neutral. Just some ideas Hope you have success!

Holy cow that is a lot of tile I too think ship-lap would look great and maybe a lighter gray or soft brown paint above. The floor I would think about tile that looks like wood

Ship-Lap is wood slats that normally go vertical and only half way up a couple of walls with a trim board between it and the painted wall above. I have it in my dining room on three walls, mine matches my wood floor that is brown but in the small area of a bathroom I think white would look better. I have seen it with peel and stick tiles between the ship-lap and painted wall instead of the trim board and that looks great also

Bonnie - First thing to do is get rid of that old 5.6 gallon per flush water/money gussler. Then paint the ceiling white; the walls graiege, and white satin trim. Can the clothes shoot go too. Cover the hole with an attractive mirror. No need to drywall. Use 24 inch peel and stick floor tiles. Send me a pic when it's done. Thanks, Ron

the walls and ceiling can be painted.. The floor is actually the best thing in the room...I can't tell if the bottom of the walls is tiled with grout or a sheet of panel.. Either way, you can still paint them... and paint is cheaper than replacing it!! Paint that door the same color and take off trim if you can..
