I inherited this old flatware box which I thought would make a fantastic jewelry box.
I started by ripping out fabric and taking out the middle piece. I soaked the felt with goo gone and used a razor blade to scrape it off.
I put new felt inside so I wasn't too worried about the few pieces I couldn't get to come off. I spray painted it white and put new white felt in.
I screwed in a little knob, but the top needed a little something so I screwed a P on there, inserted a tray and now I have a super cute jewelry box.
