You can take the branch and berries to the local county extension office, or call them to see if they can to i.d. it.
There is an app that can be downloaded to help identify plants. How goo it is I don’t know.
The leaves and berries look like an olive tree to me.
Yes I agree - I too thinkk thats its an olive tree. It can make a dog ill with vomiting and runny tum.

Definitely an olive tree.
Theres an app called picturethis. Take a picture of the tree and it will tell you what it is.
Dingleberry tree
Looks like a cherry laurel, related to the bay tree. Leaves and berries will make animals and humans sick. If the berries on your bush turn black, it's cherry laurel and contains cyanide.
