How to Turn a Thrift Store Candlestick Into Fun Garden Art

I wanted something cheerful and fun in our yard so, I went on a thrift hunt. I found a large candlestick at the thrift store for $1.00 and decided it would work for what I want. I found some bright little flower pots at Michaels for 50% off and some faux flowers and took it all home to make my new garden art piece.
Finished garden art
Find some type of thrifted candlestick. I bought this because it was big and sturdy.
Spray paint the candle stick in two coats of a cheerful color. I chose yellow (because I already had the paint).
I found these small bright ceramic pots at Michaels for 50% off. Had I not found these I would have painted some myself for this project.
I glued the pots to the candle stick and added faux flowers.
I have the complete how to on my blog.
Now I have the fun pop of color I wanted when you walked up to our door! Very easy and thrifty!
