You can use almost any type of tile. There are a wide range of non-slip flooring options online, but if you find a tile that isn't non-slip, you can make the tile Floor Non Slip with a varity of products that can be found at Home depot.

Now, for choosing the tile, there are several nonslip options. I'd start with getting an idea of the look you want to end up with. (Style, decor, all that fun stuff.) From there, you can search through where you may be buying it and keep the term nonslip in any searches to help. Good luck!

if your floor is wood, you have to be sure it is solid so the tile won't crack. there is tile that has a rough surface. you have to put down the concrete tile mix with a special trowel

that has spaces like teeth., place the tile with plastic spacers. let it dry. put grout with a flat trowel with sealer mixed in the grout in the spaces. when its dry clean it off with a wet sponge .

Hello Russell, I would suggest you go along to a large DIY store or Tile shop and ask for advice (You can buy special non slip floor tiles). Ask them to come out and price the job for you including fitting the tiles etc. That way you will have the cost of a professional doing it. Then go to DIY and ask for instructions on tiling and price up the things you would need - including buying the tools etc. That way you will be able to judge if it is a job you could do yourself or if you might a professional to do part of it for you. Whatever you decide it will be worth the doing.......... Best wishes.......
