Nothing that I can think of. The particle board is porus and has absorbed the urine. Your best bet is to replace it. Particle board is super cheap.

Odetta, , I have no experience with particle board floors but every time my dog has an accident in the garage, right away I spray the spot with Water/vinegar/tree tea oil/dawn, mixed in a bottle...then I hose the floor or mop off...no smell there!!

Hi Odetta, so sorry to hear that. It's a common problem. Mix ¼ cup of baking soda with 1 cup water, 1/3 cup distilled white vinegar, and about 1/4 cup of mild dish soap. Put the solution in a spray bottle a mix thoroughly before spraying it on the stain. Rub it in lightly with a clean cloth and let it stand for about 20 minutes. Rinse the solution away with a damp cloth and let it dry thoroughly. Be sure to test the mixture first on a spot to make sure it won’t discolor or damage your floors.

Particle board will soak up the urine because it is porous, you will have to replace.

Hi Odetta: I use a product called Odormute, and you can get it online at Chewy and I think Walmart sells it, too. Https://Odormute.com It's an enzyme eater, which you need to get rid of the urine smell. It is non-toxic and you can even use it on your pet and clothes. I have used it for years with wonderful results.

  • The ammonia in urine can only be neutralized by vinegar, so I would apply some white vinegar to the affected area and let it dry naturally.

Hi Odetta, hope this helps you. Mix A 2-to-1 mixture of warm water and white vinegar, and 1 drop of Dawn dishwashing liquid.

Spray this over the affected area, or spread it with a brush, and let it soak in. Blot dry after a few minutes.

A 3 percent hydrogen peroxide solution, Spray it on, let it sit for a few minutes and blot dry.

Peroxide, dish soap and baking soda. Mix about 14 ounces of 3-percent peroxide with a dash of dish soap and add about 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda. Spray on and blot dry after a few minutes.

Partical board soaks up everything. Is the flooring sealed? If not you can try Natures Miracle for dogs. Or Warm white vinegar, Dawn and water spray. But I think it best to replace.
