What is the best product to clean dark laminate floors?

I've tried vinegar and water and professional products but they always leave a film and/or footprints.

Hi Katrina: You should check the finish that is on the laminate. If it has been waxed there are a number of cleaning products you can't use. The vinegar and water would react this way on a waxed floor. I am having trouble with my hardwood floors because the cleaning product I used years ago is no longer available and the products on the market that everyone is raving about are not to be used on wax! If you do have wased floors, find a wax remover product and us it. Can't hurt!
Steam with water.
I clean my laminate floors....not dark, but oak color,with vinegar and water in a spray bottle. After mopping the floor, I take a clean terri cloth towel in my mop and go over it to dry it....looks so nice when dry...no foot prints....But my floors are not dark either.
Thank you, I will try that and see if it helps to dry it with a terrific cloth rather than air drying.
