I just did a file cabinet with chalk paint if you want to check that out for inspiration.
Chalk paint is very easy and forgiving to use! No need to sand, just clean the piece really well and make sure it's dry. You can then start chalk painting!

Remove all furniture and doors and Drawers and start with painting the frame first. Then Doors and Drawers. Only when dry and you are happy with the finish, fix the furniture back. You may wish to seal the item with Polyurethane Satin finish Varnish or Clear or Antique Wax. BEST WISHES
