I've had a lot of success removing adhesive with the product "GooGone" and a scraper, but not sure how that will work on hardened glue. Give it a shot.

Either that, or make it look weathered to begin with- so as it starts to wear, it looks like the wear is supposed to be there? (so you won't have to repaint it so soon!) Not sure how to do that myself, as I haven't had much experience with concrete walkway painting.

why don't you call your local tile place and ask how to get that glue off? They might have a handy, easy fix for that.

Looks like you had indoor / out carpet on it at one time . Suggest you check with a carpet store to find out what material they use to glue carpet with. Then look at the lable to see the best way to clean it up. But right off the top of my head im thinking acetone to cut that glue. Wet the heck out of it then try to power wash it. Good luck!

  • We just did this to prepare our house to sell.

We went to Lowes, and found a concrete cleaning product. We borrowed a friends power washer. Waited until cement was completely dry, then painted with special paint for cement.

    It worked out perfectly!
