Vintage Painted End Table
Here is a vintage William Fetner end table that I painted over the weekend.
In my own home I tend to gravitate more towards cream and (my all time favorite) antique white for furniture (although I have been adding in more stained and black pieces lately). It just seems to work better for me and gives me a neutral palette to decorate (and redecorate) with.
But, when I am doing custom orders or painting furniture to sell, I just love using color. Although, for some reason, I seem to forget about Persian Blue from General Finishes, but honestly, it is one of the best colors out there. Every time I use it, I fall in love all over again. Here's the thing that makes it so hard to describe...it's light blue. And, I feel like, if you just say that, the connotation of a baby blue or a pastel blue comes to mind. I assure you this is neither! Persian Blue is a sophisticated, lighter blue with hints of gray and maybe even a tinge of green. It is just gorgeous!
And, are you loving the hardware as much as I am? You really cannot go wrong with milk glass. Ever. These Milk White Cut Glass Knobs were provided by one of my very favorite companies, D. Lawless Hardware.
Lastly, I lined the drawer with burlap to give it a fresh, new feel.

This is so beautiful! What is the brand of the Persian Blue Paint? It is a wonderful color.

Love the color and knobs. Wish you had given some info about how you cleaned the piece, distressed it, and if you used a clear top coat or not. Good job, though!
