Hi Luisa, I achieved this look on an old window using spray mirror-effect paint on BACK of glass. I hope this is what you mean, and I used it propped onto wall atop of mantel.
I just watched this video this AM. Tape off all wood with painters tape. Make a mixture of vinegar and water, in equal parts, in a spray bottle. Spray your glass, don't totally cover and leave a few big drops. Then using the Looking Glass spray, spray the glass while the water mixture is still wet. Pat with a paper towel. The paint will NOT stick where spay is. Allow to dry thoroughly. Then on the back of project, go over the painted area with black paint. When all dry you have the look of true antique mirror on front !!!
