How do you make scored concrete floor that's not dyed in places?

I'm the owner of a small home I had built last year. I went with scored concrete floor throughout. The contractor did a poor job. I have places where dye and sealant don't even go to the walls. It's not the colors I chose. Other than having to spend an additional $5200 to have it sanded and completely redone, any help would be appreciated.

Can you paint it? It defeats the upkeep ease of dye.

Did you contact the contractor or take to small claims court?

A hastle I know but an expense you should not incur.

I have seriously considering doing just that. I'm a pretty good decorator and have been a detailer since I was a child. I'm blessed to be OCD. Many decades later, I've never had a customer complain. I'm proud of that.

Court? I'm screwed. I should have listened to my heart, hero and my Daddy. NEVER do business with family or friends. Him being a life long friend, his wife's mom and my Mother, were best friends for 60 years, didn't stop him from sticking it to me. Throw in his Christian, Free Mason dishonored oath, who's legal fees are free and mine are not, I'm going on covering up his mistakes and living my dream. I'm not wasting my life by focusing on the negative. The positive is due to the fact, I had The Absolute Best Painter who took my vision with only natural wood stains and contrast and took it beyond anything I have ever seen, or imagined.

I truly appreciate your response. I will continue researching but, I'm going to try the paint and an epoxi in a small area and see how it goes. Thanks again.

I agree with contacting the contractor, he should have done it to your liking and done it right the first time. You should not have paid him until it was done to your satisfaction. It should have lasted longer than a year, also his bad.

Would you recommend any particular website for the most accurate information? I don't have a lot of time to be online. Thanks so much for your response.

sure! CUTTING EDGE STENCILS and ROYAL DESIGN STUDIO are two good places to look at. both have plenty of "how to" videos, not to mention their beautiful stencil designs. i haven't done a floor yet, but am planning on doing my bathroom floor. i have done a very large wall, though and it turned out gorgeous. hope this helps!
