Can Formica cabinet be painted?

You can purchase cabinet painting kits from home depot and Lowe's they work great

YES. Sand lightly to roughen the surface. Use a good primer first, then paint with your choice of color. Depending on your color, you may need 2 coats. If these are cabinets, I have use semi-gloss paint so they will be easy to clean. If it is a counter top then I would use gloss and certainly 2 coats. Let dry at least 24-48 hrs .

Cabinets are replaced all too often. They are still good; it's just "we" get tired of the color.

It is super easy to paint your kitchen cabinets with Dixie Belle.

Step one : Clean with White Lightning

Step two: Use Dixie Belle Slick stick to let the paint adhere to slippery surface

Step three : Paint one to two coats of Dixie Belle Chalk Mineral paint

Step four: Use Gator Hide for a water resistant finish.
