Recently on Instagram I won a giveaway for free paint from a Canadian Paint company called House & Canvas. I was stoked and chose a safe neutral white and a fun antique teal. If you follow my Facebook page or blog you know I love me some teal.

I chose this solid wood end table I recently acquired from an estate sale. It has great bones and a fun shape and will look great with color.

I applied 2 coats of the antique teal color with a good synthetic brush. It went on so smooth and easy. Once dry I sealed it with 2 coats of varathane with a semi gloss sheen to make cleaning easy and give it durability for all the items that will be placed on it.

The next step was to add depth and details using Daddy Vans shadow black wax.

This beauty is now ready for years of use. The gorgeous antique teal color will go well with so many home decor schemes. It was not long after posting it found its new forever home.
