I have a very old, discolored and scuffed sink in my bathroom that needs some TLC. I have seem various paints on line for this purpose, but wonder if anybody has done this project with good results. Thanks. Sally

It doesn't hold up. Save your money for a new sink.

Used rust oleum to do a bathtub with good results. You will need a respirator.

Yes you can, follow directions exactly

Krylon Fusion for Plastic and Rust-Oleum Paint for Plastic stick to most hardplastics, so they are likely to work regardless of whether your sink is acrylic, polypropylene, fiberglass composite or any of the other plastics commonly found in laundry sinks these days.

Great. Thanks for your help. I shall get the Krylon because I have heard mixed reports on Rustoleum bath/sink products.

I just went into that bathroom and removed the Painter's tape from around my new DollarTree marble backsplash. It came out great, much better than I expected. Wish I could show you but I don't have a working cell phone, got to buy a new one.

I have just finished painting my little sink and it is dreadful. The paint was so thin it dripped and flaked and caused bumps. I sanded it down with 220 grit, but it still looks awful, and with barely any shine at all. Can't possibly get this horrible stuff off. At least, I am comforted by the fact that it is a spare bathroom that I hardly ever use. Don't think you can give out the name of a paint that you are giving a negative report on! Not sure.
