But I have purchased 3 inch pretty polished silver truffles. I will send pictures of all. Any advice would be awesome. Thank you

This is a picture of the inside of the drawer… So you can see that it was not screwed in. I just want to remove the wood ones carefully without destroying the chores and place updated hardware, that I purchased brand new with all the hardware needed. Any help would be awesome. Thank you so much !!! on it. Attaching a picture of it now

    Hello there,

Looks like 1940's oak furniture. The handles were probably stuck on with animal glue, not sure you will be able to remove them without damage. I think I would start by trying to saw the handles off as low as possible and then try soaking them in hot soapy water(in the hope it might soften the glue) Failing that I might try a hair dryer and a wallpaper scraper. Or you could plane the handle down as low as possible and refinish surface and apply my handles. Hope those suggestions might help you.

a very fine tooth wire saw might work

I think the handles ate great but if you want to take then off an offset saw designed for a fine ct will get them down to the base then a plain or sanding will take iron down. Good luck. Wish I had the handles.

If all else fails can you not just attached the metal pulls on the existing handles? Might be a great look!

I would just leave the wood handles on and stain the wood in two tones then attach the handles. It would save the antique charm while giving it a modern twist.
