How do I work with a jade plant?

I have a jade plant that was given to me from my brother. This cut from my moms original plant after she past away as a momorial to her. I already transplanted it into a larger pot and It’s growing well. Now I would like to know what I can do with it.
Continue to give it love! I love this website for plant care tips. You could also add some other plants that require similar levels of maintenance, water, and light to create a little garden. Some other succulents that look different and provide a contrast with different textures and patterns might be nice.
You can also grow new plants from any parts that you trim off - even one leaf. Just lay it on the soil and it will grow a new plant!
You can break off pieces to fill in the pot. I agree with Brittany, add a variety of succulents that have the same care needs. It's so nice that you have a living memorial for your mother.
You can also plant it outside. Break off a piece and just stick it in the ground. It will grow it's own sprouts so it can get quite large.
Mine grew to fill a garden enclosure of about 2' X 2'.
If you have a real winter like, snow and below freezing, a pot would be best so you can bring it inside during the winter.
Inside trim it back so it remains the right size for your planter.
Then you can give away sprouts as small gifts. Your friends will love it and you. Have fun.
