How did you put them securely into the ground?

My US NAVY buddy/soul-mate and honey Husband passed several years ago and I have a sign that my neighbor made for his memorial "Celebrating Milt's Passing" and it has a ship sailing. I have a crane type sea bird that I wanted to put in the garden area and an anchor that I got from Michaels a while back. Wanted to do something with height...so was thinking to use rebar inside the posts? Thanks.

Rebar and concrete will work inside a hollow post. Other types of posts can be installed with concrete poured into a hole - like a fence post. No rebar is needed in that case.

Sorry to hear of ur loss..Maybe a rounded post as tall as you like, waterproof it maybe rap some thick rope, some old netting , place crane type bird on top of post n paint the anchor shiny silver or gold n place at base with rope strung through!
