Chalk paint. I love this stuff. Goes on so well, no prep needed other than washing surface to remove greasy fingerprints. Two coats should be done in no time flat.
Use chalk paint to update it.
Hi Yvonne! If you are unhappy with the color, I would paint it. Tape it off and paint it with several thin coats to avoid drips. I would either use a paint + primer in one or sand it first for a better finish. If it gets a lot of handling, you will definitely want a top coat like polycrylic. Good luck!
Hello Yvonne, there are two product choices that I would suggest for your consideration.
Heres some helpful links for you to look over to see if it’s appropriate for your project. I hope this helps!
1-Minwax® PolyShades® enhances wood grain by combining beautiful rich stain color and long-lasting polyurethane protection in one easy step. It can also be used over polyurethane finishes, so you can change the color of your finished wood, without removing the existing finish.
