How do I redo shower/tub liner?

My shower liner is so stAined from city water..i have used CLR for rust calcium hardware build up amonia bleach vinegar baking soda everything under the sun and it still looks awful

    Hi Don, my best friend has the worst iron in her city water. She uses The Works. I honestly can't recommend it because it is really HARSH on everything it touches. But she swears it is the only thing that works. In fact I think it might even take the finish off of fiberglass... but maybe if you use it sparingly?

    I don't like the works. I've tried it and prefer scrubbing bubbles. Spray it on, let it sit for several minutes, scrub LIGHTLY with nylon scrubby. Repeat immediately while surface is soft, rinse.

      I was in the same position and figured I didn’t have anything to lose. Hope it works for you too. Home Depot has refinishing kits.
