Pot Lid Garden Junk Decor

I was thinking about how to decorate my chippy, white, garden barn door, when I found some assorted enamelware pot lids for $1 at my favorite consignment shop. I also purchased a small crate and wooden "frame", and pulled out a wire soap dish from my junk stash. Install garden junk art!
My barn door is anchored to a dead birch tree in my yard. Hopefully the tree will be gone next year, and a garden shed will take its place. The barn door will be relocated to another area of my yard.
Here is my pot lid "collection" along with the wooden crate, wire soap dish and the funky "frame" (really just a part off of something).
The lids are hung, and I added a fun chicken coop, rustic sign. Very inexpensive and fun! All the details for this project are on my blog post.

Excellent story board... I bet each lid has a story along with the barn door. Oops the writer in me just slipped out. LOL It is gorgeous - great job!

The lids did not all come from the same place so their stories are different! Thanks!

Smart and so clever! I have a blank side wall of a tiny storage shed that needs junk décor.
