Clean well, using painters tape, tape over the areas you don't want painted then spray paint with a spray paint made for plastic. There are many different metallic colors to choose from if you wan to change the look..
there is a paint for that. a couple of brands are producing paints for plastic, rustoleum, krylon are the 2 I know of. spray paint and brush on types are available. all greasy stuff needs to come off the items to be painted. I would also prime them, then paint.

I would use the Rustoleum paint for plastics. It works very well!
