Have hand-made black oak furniture. Am considering Behr Lampit Eggshell 4 walls. Have floral drapes/wh bckgrd. Paint matches a 'yellow' flower on custom drapes. What style/color of Porcelain floors & window decor should I use?

Could you post a picture of your bedroom so we could help better.

  • I'm not sure what window decor you are looking for, since you said you have drapes, (tell me more) but I would keep the floor a neutral color and then add a colorful throw rug using a color from the drapes. I hope that helps!

    • Happy to help! Now I know what you mean... personally I like shades. I think they make the room darker for sleeping. I hope you'll share pictures with us when you're done!

I would stay in neutrals for flooring so if you want to change, it’s just paint, maybe new drapery. A hardwood floor would look good. They also make a porcelain tile that looks like driftwood or other woods. colors, all sorts of grays, whites with some browns and blacks.

If you want a change, paint the walls a light neutral color. Get plain window curtains in a light color. Also a light bedcover. And add some color with pillows.

Thanks much 4 ur helpful response. My walls r now a light rose (for 29 yrs); with exception of drapes, all else is plain color; bedspread white w/gold border. Wanted to brighten the room which is why I'm choosing sort of mustard paint. Currently, have white shades with embroidered tassels. Likely will cont. w/shades, just different design/color.

Again, ty 4 ur kind response.
