How to make wood look old?
I want to strip the chalk paint off from my kitchen cabinets then stain them to have a used look to them. I like the look of darker stain showing through a touch lighter stain in some areas.

You can wipe off the stain at different times. The longer stain stays on, the darker it will be.
Big undertaking. Just strip like you do furniture. Will be more difficult since cabinets are installed.
You could also try a dark wax or glaze over your chalk paint to get a more aged look.
