I have an old wooden ironing board that I would like to repurpose. I considered using it as a console table in the entryway but wonder if anyone has more creative ideas.

What a neat thing to have! I think your entryway table idea is a good one. You could put a display of family photos above it, using those mini clothespins on jute string, so that it carries along the laundry theme. Have a few books on the board and use old iron irons as bookends. (I'm talking about the ones that are made of iron and stand a few inches tall, all one piece.)

Hi Linda, you can turn your ironing board into a beautiful vertical garden. Add a few planters made from old DVD cases into planters and attach those to the ironing board. Here's a tutorial that will show you how - https://acraftymix.com/blog/old-dvd-cases/ To ensure the board can withstand the elements seal it with marine varnish.

Hi Li nda, what a conversation piece the ironing board could be at the entrance into your home. It will be an opportunity to decorate with family items, other small heirloom pieces, etc. It could also possibly be used as a sofa table and decorated in the same way.. Some nice pots with plants could be placed below, on the floor.
