How to clean tall vase with opening too small for brush?

  • I would either use a dental cleaning tablet, or allow vinegar to sit in it. You could also try a pipe cleaner that you can bend to the shape you want. Good luck!

    First soak with vinegar for 15 minutes. Pour out approximately 2/3. Add a couple of drops of dish soap and rice. Cover top tightly with your palm and shake until clean. Rinse thoroughly. Alternatively you can use coarse sand in place of the rice.

    I've used dried rice and soapy water to clean things like decanters before that I cant reach into. Pop in a handful and quarter fill with soapy water and give it a good shake :)

    I should add that it only requires about a tablespoon of rice or sand. ☺

    Let it soak with soapy water inside the pour out most of the water. Put your hand on top and shake it like crazy. You might have to do this more than once.
