Hi Sharon. I'm Cindy. Tin is sold in tile form. Take measurements with you when you go to buy the tin tiles. Add 10% extra to allow for mistakes. Find the center of the back splash. Mark it with an X. Put 4 tiles on the wall so that they meet in the middle at the X. Work out from that point. Doing it this way will put any cut tiles at the ends of the wall and will go un-noticed. I hope this helps. Good luck Sharon.
some times you can get a back splash that looks like tin, but it's a plastic. check carefully.
You can buy tin as a peel and stick backsplash at any home improvement store. It looks 3 Dimensional but is one piece that can be cut to fit any area. Hope this helps, Sharon.
