Cut a piece of Plexi glass the tad smaller than your table top....do a design on that..place under the table top...if the table top is recessed into the frame of your table..glue the painted p.g..into place first then put back the real glass top...just a thought..you could experiment first with a small size piece of p.g. an real glass..you would seperate the two pieces with clear plastic discs....

Martha Stewart has paint specifically for glass and they also sell stained glass kits at craft stores if you wanted to make your own design and go that route.

There is a craft product called alcohol ink that will work on glass, and ceramic tile. I think you might want to fire it check utube

  • Paint your design on the bottom so the top is easy to clean and not ruin your beautiful work.

  • Hi Connie,

Dixie Belle just came out with a new product called "Slick Stick". Its really cool stuff. It's specifically made for slippery surfaces such as glass. You just paint two coats of slick stick on the glass. Then you can use our Dixie Belle Chalk MIneral paint and paint away! I would then follow up with our Gator Hide if its a dining room table top. That is our water resistant top coat that is super tough.

    Hope that helps!
