Usually if you apply an oil to the glue it can then be rubbed off easily. I often use coconut oil as I have it in my pantry.
Have you tried WD 40?
Goo gone
Rubbing alcohol takes it off!
Try WD40.
I would use a straight razor blade to remove the glue carefully!
I used alcohol on my glass patio door. .it worked for me. .
Goo Gone, says it will take off adhesive, it works on vinyl. My husband stepped in some glue and I will try removing it from tile.
Hope this helps
Kathy
Hi Elaine, WD-40 or Surgical Spirit will remove the sticky glue residue. I’ve also heard great things about Goo Gone
