How to update bathroom saloon doors?

Have these saloon doors separating the toilet area. Any ideas on updating, or should I just remove them?

If privacy is not an issue I would consider removing them but if privacy is an issue then I would keep them.

I think a coat of white plus some distressing would make them fun for your bathroom! Especially if you also painted your bathroom vanity a light gray and gave your bathroom a little bit of an update.

I have a solid, reasoned response to the leave/remove debate. Since those doors are often referred to as "saloon" doors or "cafe" doors, if neither activity implied actually takes place on the other side of those doors, I say take them down. Just my humble opinion.

I personally would remove them as I think they're outdated. I also find it a bit humorous that saloon doors were used in a bathroom :)

I would take them down. The cafe/saloon doors are not giving anyone full privacy anyways. Your bathroom looks small. Removing the doors will change the entire look and feel of your bathroom for the better! Good Luck!

Years ago we lived in a rental home that had saloon doors in the master bath area. With permission from the owner we removed them and hung a pretty curtain panel on a tension rod. It looked nice and provided some privacy.

Yes I agree with removing them. They are outdated and really don't belong in a bathroom. Removing them will open the space up. You could install a pocket door for privacy.

    Leave them & paint white
