How can the wall in the bathroom, that was the doorway, be finished so it doesn’t look obvious that a door was removed? There’s a vanity next to the doorway with tile above that abutted the door moulding. Thanks

Put up new molding where the hinges and strike plate were and finish them to blend in with your existing molding

    Hi there,

Make a plinth where the door was to hide it and use as base for shelves .

Give yourself a full length mirror or add baseboard and use accent wallpaper and maybe glass shelves to fill the space.........?

Hi Ma'am,. Take the pins out of the door, remove the hinges, put wood filler in the hinges part, then put some molding around the door. The molding will look good, if it's about 4, inches wide. Aloha!

Hello again, A "Plinth" is a stand - a raised box etc. Need only be 2 x sides and a top wedged into doorway. It is difficult for me to be more precise as the doors and doorways are constructed differently in uk also the door furniture (Hinges).
