How do i tile around my bathroom tub?

Make sure your walls are not drywall or green board. They need to be fiberglass backerboard or concrete board. Fill in seems with morter not plaster. Spread out mastic in the space you can handle with tile at a time. Maybe 3 ft at a time lay in your tile with the correct amount of space required for your style and size of tile. I'd tile to ceiling so you don't have to deal with drywall. Let dry up a day then grout. In a week or two be sure to do a all over tile sealer.
Hi Kim,. There are several books on bathroom remodeling, that you can find at the library or at Home Depot or Lowe's which you can purchase. Make sure you fill the tub before you begin. The weight of the water will give you nice finish around the tub. The water weight will make the tub so it's even. If you do the tile and don't fill the tub, when you do fill it, it will pull away from the wall slightly. Then you'll have to do the caulk again. Aloha!
