How to make a mold for copying different shapes?

I would like to be able to make molds for copying different shapes. What do I use to make the mold material? Thanks in advance

Depends on what type of molds you want to make. Plaster of paris is used for some moldings.
You can get mold making material at JoAnns. I just saw it & was amazed. Not sure what it's called, but real cool idea!
Alumilite is a liquid rubber molding material. Smooth-On Silicone Mold Making, Liquid Rubber OOMOO 30, both of which are available on Amazon
Sculpey makes a bake and bend clay that you can probably buy at Joanns. I have seen people make long strings of this and knitted with it.
