How to make textured walls?
I have just finished a project which involved putting Sheetrock in a space next to a textured wall and want to make texture over the Sheetrock so the walls match. HELP?

I'm remodeling my kitchen and need to match the existing texture. The existing texture is old and thick. I only have experience with spray can orange peel.
It is hard to match texture. You can buy a can of spray foam texture for a small area. If you could add a picture so we could see how your texture was done originally it would help us give you better suggestions.
It depends on how much texture you have already. You can buy sand textured paint if it is barely textured. Pictures would help. Drywall mud is another option if it is heavily textured.
I saw a video the other day where the guy used a wadded up Walmart bag to apply some texture stuff (sorry I don’t remember recipe for texture stuff,), then used his trowel to flatten it out a bit but not too much or you will lose your texture. Good luck on your project!
