Used vinger in bathroom and didn’t know it would cause marks on my countertop. These are rings where I set bottel down or drip marks. They won’t come off with cleaning any suggestions to polish or deminish them any?

    Hi Mary,

I got some rust on my Corian countertop in our bathroom. I made a paste of baking soda and water, rubbed it in a circle over the spot, then sprayed on a mix of vinegar and water. I let that sit for 5 mins or so then wiped it all down with clean water. It removed the rust easily. Depending on the material of your countertop and what was in the bottle, there might have been a chemical reaction that won't wipe off. If that's the case you MIGHT be able to gently smooth it down with high grit sandpaper or 0000 steel wool, then polish the whole countertop with a wax or polish designed for the material of your countertop. Wishing you the best.
