How to make my Mirror standout?

Hi there,
In my main entry way I put the standing Mirror, but I painted my wall with white and gray strips, the Mirror is also gray. My Mirror does not stand out. I just want to know how I can make the Mirror stand out. thanks
Frame it and paint it black? Or paint a square of contrasting color on the wall and put the mirror in the middle of it.
You could make an easy inexpensive frame for it and make the frame a nice deep dark cherry or burgundy colour
