How to repair basement flooring?
We are making a family room in our basement. Our problem is access to two sewer clean outs. How can these be covered yet still be accessible?

Try a box that you could sit on with a access panel or a small closet .
Simple answer: cover the cutout with a wood box, used to display a model car or something, or, if the cleanouts are close enough together, a buffet or table that is hollow and reaches the floor. Just decorate around the covers as if they were planned to be there all along. And clean out your sewer lines befor anything is finished, and schedule to do that once a year. You can rent the snake you need. Keep an occasional bad day in mind when you are choosing flooring. Tile over cement, a drain hidden nearby in case of overflow, access to a faucet in need of cleanup, and a strong exhaust fan nearby if you start getting sewer smells. In some parts of the country, you need a sump pump, too. And no fabrics touching the floor and use plastic caps or coasters for every furniture leg possible. Best wishes for a cool project. ☺️
I believe you are talking outside clean outs? If so, the box idea is good. Decorate how you like. To keep it in place, put a bracket on it that will let you use a tent peg to tie down. IF you only see one side, a plant or lawn ornament might work.
