Planning to sell- what color should I use to paint to make it nicer?

The color thats in these days is a light gray/silver.. It goes with everything.

In my opinion. It is best to use light neutral colors to make the rooms look larger. Usually the first thing anyone does after buying a house is paint to their liking.

Lighting in a room will definitely change the look of any color you choose. We went with light grey for walls, and white for the ceilings. Our baseboards and trim around doors was already white, so we are refreshing all of that with new white trim paint. We are in love with the new look and how much it lightened and brightened our home. Hi! We are going through that process now. I ended up using fairly neutral colors like a light gray and a creamy ivory in the downstairs and neutral, soothing colors like light blue in the master. My downstairs hallway and upstairs hall are the same ivory so that it flows nicely. I kept to this color scheme after I looked at hundreds of online listings, quickly noticing how dated certain colors and window treatments made a house look. I also noticed that most places hadn't been personalized and were over decorated with too much visual clutter. It also surprised me how rooms weren't staged to look their best if someone was still living in the house. A sink with a counter full of jars or a kitchen counter that has lots of stuff out makes it look like there isn't enough storage. Dated light fixtures also are distracting. People tend to look at online pictures before touring a house, so you want everything to photograph well. Good luck!
