How can I get cuttings from crepe myrtle plant to root.?

    Janice...I have never done but according to what I read you should dip the cut end into a rooting hormone and place the cutting in a pot of moist sand and potting mix about 3 to 4 inches deep. Cover with a plastic bag to keep them moist and it takes place with 4 to 8 weeks. Good luck!

    Leave in water for 2 weeks till you see roots then plant

    I would try taking a cutting from your tree (make a sharp cut!) and let it root in a vase of water. Change the water frequently to prevent contamination. Let roots get nice and long and plant in the spring after the danger of frost has passed.
